For solo diners, the eight-seat counter offers better sight lines to the grill than the second-floor tatami rooms, which are better suited to parties of four or more. If you're comparing strictly on booking difficulty, Michishirube's text-message reservation system is more forgiving than the phone-scramble required at many higher-tier yakitori specialists. The venue's 17-year operating history (since December 2009) adds a layer of reliability that newer openings can't match. In a neighborhood where yakitori specialists open and close quickly, Michishirube's consistency is its strongest credential.
