About The Largo
Once you step into The Largo, is almost hard to believe that the bustle of rua das Flores is right outside the door. Danish design studio Space Copenhagen has imbued the hotel’s five historic buildings with a Nordic sensibility, think muted neutral shades, clean lines of minimalist furnishings, and layers of soothing tactile materials. Outside of the cocooning rooms Bar Flor is open to locals as well as guests, and features some more offbeat ingredients than your usual hotel bar, don’t be surprised if the team is distilling, infusing and clarifying with yoghurt, white chocolate, or even local cod. Restaurant Cozinha das Flores is as much a destination as the hotel itself, with a modern Portuguese menu overseen by lauded chef Nuno Mendes.
