About Le Clos du Colombier
An 1835 manor house in the Burgundy village of Pommard is the raw material for the Hôtel Le Clos du Colombier 1817 Vignes & Spa, and to say it retains much of its 19th-century charm would be an understatement. Its owners, though, are savvy decorators, and there’s plenty of contemporary style to be found within. As the name promises, there’s a lovely little spa with views of the vineyards; Pommard wines, naturally, are available in plentiful quantities. From mid-December through the end of September the hotel’s own restaurant serves fine seasonal fare, and others are available nearby.
