About Le Clos Sainte-Marguerite
A few minutes’ walk from the picturesque historic heart of Beaune, the capital of the Burgundy wine country, lies the low-key, practically hidden Le Clos Sainte-Marguerite, a 14th-century house that’s now in business as a small but impressive boutique bed and breakfast. Historical atmosphere comes courtesy of period furniture, exposed beams, Murano glass and roll-top bathtubs. The “cosy” double room is by no means undersized, and the suites are impressive, especially the 110-square-meter Superior Duplex. A daily breakfast features high-quality local products, and your immediate surroundings are home to no end of fine restaurants, to say nothing of the wine….
