Chubby's Jamaican Kitchen
Toronto, Canada
Chubby's Jamaican Kitchen earned a 2025 Michelin Plate for cooking that looks humble and tastes carefully considered; jerk chicken off the wood-burning grill, oxtail stew with a gravy worth ordering as a side. At $$$, it's one of Toronto's clearest overdeliverers. Book ahead for weekends; midweek is more forgiving.

Alder
Toronto, Canada
Alder has held a Michelin Plate in both 2024 and 2025, making it one of the most accessible Michelin-recognised tables in Toronto at the $$$ price point. The Mediterranean format rewards returning diners, with enough range across the menu to justify two or three visits. Book a few weeks ahead on weeknights for the smoothest experience.

Campechano
Toronto, Canada
Campechano holds back-to-back Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition (2024 and 2025) and a 4.4 rating across nearly 1,900 reviews; the clearest argument for serious Mexican cooking at $$ in Toronto. Chef Andrew Castelan's kitchen consistently over-delivers for its price tier, making this the practical choice for groups, dates, and celebrations where quality matters but a $$$$ commitment doesn't.

Alma Toronto
Toronto, Canada
A Michelin Bib Gourmand tasting menu restaurant with just 22 seats on Bloor West, Alma Toronto delivers refined modern Mexican cuisine; built on ancestral corn from Tlaxcala and Quebec seafood; at a price point well below Alo or Aburi Hana. Book the nine-course menu with wine pairings on your first visit. Two to three weeks' advance booking is advisable for weekends.

Enigma Yorkville
Toronto, Canada
Enigma Yorkville earns its Michelin star (2024) through a tightly controlled surprise tasting menu format, with 6, 8, or 10 courses shaped by chef Quinton Bennett's international kitchen background. At $$$$ with service until 11 PM five nights a week, it is Toronto's most compelling late-option for serious tasting menus. Book four to six weeks out minimum.

Adrak Yorkville
Toronto, Canada
Adrak Yorkville earns its Michelin Plate with precisely cooked, regionally inspired Indian dishes served in one of Toronto's most striking dining rooms. At $$$, it is the right call for a special occasion or a first serious Indian dining experience in the city. Book a week or more ahead for weekends.

Sushi Masaki Saito
Toronto, Canada
Toronto's one-Michelin-star sushi counter, Sushi Masaki Saito delivers edomae omakase at a level unmatched anywhere in Canada. Chef Masaki Saito's access to Japanese fish and product is genuinely without peer in the country. Book months ahead; this is near-impossible to secure; and only if omakase is a format you already know you want.

Bar Isabel
Toronto, Canada
Bar Isabel has held its position as Toronto's benchmark Spanish tapas bar for over a decade, earning Michelin Plate recognition in 2024 and 2025 and a World of Fine Wine 3-Star Accreditation. Chef Grant van Gameren's sourcing-led approach to Spanish classics; bone marrow, pan con tomate, boquerones; justifies the $$$ price point. Book two to three weeks out for weekend evenings; the room fills fast and the energy is high.
Overview
The Michelin Guide Toronto & Region 2026 selects 111 restaurants across 33 cuisines, including 15 starred restaurants. Revealed September 22, the edition adds five Bib Gourmands and 11 other recommendations. Inclusion in the guide does not automatically mean a restaurant has a Star.
Toronto became a Michelin dining destination in 2022. The regional selection now gives travelers a way to compare different kinds of recognition, from destination cooking to good-value meals. It is a guide selection, not an ordered national league table. Restaurant Stars concern the food: ingredients, command of cooking techniques, harmony of flavors, the personality expressed through the cuisine, and consistency. Anonymous inspectors assess these qualities without making dining-room luxury a requirement. Bib Gourmand identifies good cooking at good value. Other selected restaurants are recommendations in their own right. Use the individual venue distinction rather than assuming every restaurant on this page is starred. Hotel Keys, professional special awards and editorial initiatives such as Mindful Voices are separate from the restaurant Star system. Menus, prices and availability can change after the annual selection.
Explore Toronto and the surrounding region through Michelin-selected dining, with each restaurant's actual distinction kept separate from its place in Pearl's discovery results.
