About Dai Gresy - In Langa
Thanks to its deeply rooted winemaking traditions, the Langhe-Roero and Monferrato region of southern Piedmont is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dai Grésy, a small hotel located on the grounds of an 18th-century winery, is a great place to get in touch with that history. Once a private farm, now a family-run agriturismo, the property is located on a picturesque hilltop with vineyard views as far as the eye can see. The old farmhouse was converted into guest lodgings in 2016, transforming the once-humble homestead into a smart and surprisingly modern boutique hotel with eleven light-filled rooms and suites. Each room is uniquely decorated, but all are airy and minimalist, simple yet striking. They feature parquet floors, earthy colors, natural linen drapery framing large windows, and eclectic details like rotary phones and antique glass lamps suspended from high ceilings. Bathrooms are luminous and lined in pale concrete. Standard rooms have garden and vineyard views, while suites have extras like open kitchens, private balconies, and whirlpool tubs. The most charming suites highlight the farmhouse's original wooden beams. Outside, Dai Grésy’s saltwater infinity pool overlooks the region's famous landscapes, and wines from the family's estate are served on a sun-soaked terrace.
