About Hotel Le Agavi
Positano is a place that needs little introduction; Hotel Le Agavi, like much else in this vertiginous Amalfi Coast town, clings to the cliffside above the bay, its outdoor spaces occupying a cascade of terraces at a dizzying multitude of levels. The view’s the thing, of course, and every room and suite in the house has one, and from a furnished balcony at that. The accommodations are crisply decorated in blues and whites, and at all levels, from the humblest Classic to the top-end Alma Suite, they’re outfitted with luxury-hotel details, both high-tech and low. The Alma Spa comes with jaw-dropping views of its own, as does the outdoor pool; an Amalfi-style beach with a sun deck, loungers, and a bar is a short elevator ride away. Another bar serves the pool area, and the Hall Bar is the more elegant indoor venue; the beachside Remmese restaurant is the casual counterpart to the gourmet La Serra.
