About Palazzo Ducale Venturi
Set not in the city of Lecce but in the small town of Minervino di Lecce, Palazzo Ducale Venturi is a meticulous restoration of a 16th-century palazzo, brought back to life as one of Salento’s most luxurious lodgings. The restoration was guided by the local cultural authority, and the Palazzo’s antique atmosphere is thus as authentic as possible. Its rooms and suites sit beneath arched ceilings, some frescoed, some in raw stone; all exhibit an air of aristocratic refinement, from the ornate Ducal Suite all the way down to the garden-facing Classic Room. Nor are contemporary luxuries overlooked. The spa and wellness area are a noteworthy inclusion, as is the outdoor pool. In addition to a gourmet restaurant, the Palazzo offers cooking classes as well as private dining experiences set in the palace’s garden. And the excursions and experiences range all over the region, from tours of Lecce’s artistic and culinary destinations to sailing excursions along the coast of Salento.
