About Kamakura COCON
Kamakura COCON is a meditative guesthouse in keeping with the region’s traditions — just south of Tokyo, this coastal enclave honors a shared history of samurai, temples, and shrines. It still retains Edo-period wooden architecture, plus a picturesque teahouse and bamboo grove for the full effect. A small bar onsite offers intimate counter service. Roomwise, there are just two accommodations, both dual-level suites with tatami detailing and gorgeous exposed joists. Deep soaking jacuzzi tubs and Airwave linens ensure total relaxation.
