About nhow Amsterdam Rai
RAI is Amsterdam’s exhibition and convention center, and the neighboring Nhow Amsterdam RAI is a forward-looking statement by architect Rem Koolhaas’s OMA. It’s a stacked trio of triangular volumes, each one slightly rotated with respect to the others, and inside is the sort of riotously colorful boutique hotel with which the Nhow name has become synonymous. With 650 rooms, it’s the biggest hotel in the Benelux region, but aesthetically it’s as out-there as any little urban boutique. Three small gyms keep guests fit, while a pair of restaurants and bars, one on the ground floor and another on the rooftop, keep them fed and watered.
