A family estate shaped by three generations
Henri Sélèque planted vines in Moussy and Pierry in the 1960s and released his first bottles in 1969. His son Richard expanded the holdings and developed the domaine’s winemaking equipment. Jean-Marc returned in 2008 and now vinifies by plot, using each site’s character to guide the blend.
The farming is deliberate but should not be mistaken for certification: the estate says it is moving toward organic methods without seeking certification, and has used biodynamic-inspired practices since 2010. Some plowing is done by horse to limit soil compaction.
