About Royal Sonesta Washington DC Capitol Hill
A ten-story atrium, a glass facade and a collection of commissioned artworks give this newer Capitol Hill address a design confidence that most business-district hotels don't bother with. Rooms are spacious by DC standards, dressed in neutral tones with Egyptian cotton sheets and pillow-top beds; the yoga studio and well-equipped gym are among the better hotel fitness offerings in the city. Bistro du Jour serves French classics in a room ornate enough to justify the concept. Union Station is an eight-minute walk; the Supreme Court less than a mile.
