About The Coleridge
Behind an unmarked door on a side street in Valletta, The Coleridge occupies a 17th-century property once linked to the court of Grandmaster Gregorio Carafa. Its 6 rooms and suites are each named after poems by Samuel Taylor Coleridge - layered with antique furnishings, textured fabrics, and original artwork. The atmosphere is calm but never sterile, more townhouse than hotel. Just steps from the city’s museums and landmarks, it feels well-placed and self-contained: a measured base for seeing Valletta, or stepping back from it.
