About Beau Site
Talloires is a beach town, of sorts, but not on the ocean — it stands on the shores of Lake Annecy, in the Alps, which means Beau Site is surrounded not only by parkland and private beaches but dramatic peaks as well. Its 32 rooms and suites, divided between the original building and an addition, are a mix of Alpine-rustic, seaside casual, and contemporary boutique chic; they’re also thoroughly luxurious, albeit in a tasteful and understated way. A spa and pool add to the leisure offerings, while the hotel’s gourmet restaurant is complemented by the more casual beach bar.
