About Epona
It’s hard to beat the location of Epona, which sits surrounded by many of the sights that make Sens worth a stop along the Burgundy wine route. The attractive neo-renaissance town hall is right opposite the hotel, and Sens Cathedral, the Museé de Sens and the lovely Jardin de l’Orangerie are only a couple of minutes’ walk away. This also means the hotel offers some enviable views, particularly from its contemporary styled suites, which overlook the town hall, cathedral, or the city's rooftops. Facilities include a playroom, an unusual but welcome addition for a hotel of this size, a fitness room, and in-room treatments on request in lieu of a spa. Restaurant La Table d’Epona highlights local Burgundy produce and cuisine, complimented of course by a collection of Burgundy wines, and the hotel bar serves drinks and light snacks from lunch until late. The outdoor terrace is a pleasant spot for dining al fresco in summer, but the rooftop bar is the real highlight for drinks with a view of Sens Cathedral.
