About Le Manoir de Kerbot
Just outside Sarzeau, near the wooded coastline of Brittany’s Rhuys Peninsula, is an elegant 16th-century manor house that used to be an orphanage and agricultural school. The property was later converted into a boutique hotel, Le Manoir de Kerbot. A few historic details remain inside the the longère-style farmhouse, including the original fireplace, and the adjacent chapels have been transformed into rooms and suites with vaulted ceilings, exposed stone walls, and sleek modern bathrooms. The old brick-lined cellar now houses an atmospheric spa, and the restaurant offers sunny terrace seating overlooking a small lake, a perfect spot for breakfast and birdwatching.
