About Château Richeux - Les Maisons de Bricourt
Château Richeux dates back only to the 1920s, which is recent history by chateau standards, but this lavish seaside residence lacks for nothing when it comes to atmosphere. It helps that it looks across the bay at Mont Saint-Michel, but most of its charm is due to what’s within the grounds. This includes not only the Château itself, but a clifftop boutique hotel called Les Rimains, some charming seaside cabins, and the Ferme du Vent, a set of renovated cottages whose floor-to-ceiling windows offering breathtaking views of the Breton coast. The sprawling property boasts a unique spa, the Bains Celtiques, housed in the old farmhouse, as well as a bakery and spice shop. Visitors are also free to visit the gardens, greenhouse and working farmlands. Owner and chef Hugo Roellinger, a Cancale local, has ensured that the Château is a significant culinary destination as well.
