Just up the coast from Porto Vecchio, on the southeast coast of Corsica, is the scenic Bay of Pinarellu, home to the four-star resort that is Le Pinarello. It’s blessed with plenty of beach but also makes space on its rooftop for an infinity pool with an impressive 360-degree view. The rooms, meanwhile, are categorized by their views, either straight out to sea or down into the gardens behind the hotel; either way they’re clean-lined and contemporary, neither retro nor avant-garde. Along with a Phytomer spa you’ll find two restaurants, the beachside La Table du Pinarello and the Brasserie Le Rouf.
