We’ve all built sandcastles on the beach, but this one on the Belgian coast at Middelkerke tops them all. Opened in 2024, the striking building has a futuristic look and is just meters from the water; all the rooms have terraces but ask for an east or west facing room so you can look down the beach as well as out to sea. Add in a cocktail bar, wellness centre and even a casino and you have something for everyone.
