    About Garberhof

What began as a simple guesthouse for hikers, opened in 1981 in South Tyrol is now this: a modern alpine lodge with luxurious rooms, a notable fine art collection, and the largest hammam of any hotel in Italy. Garberhof has come a long way in recent years, but despite significant renovations and additions to the original property, this family-run hotel still offers warmth and coziness: the owner personally oversees Garberhof’s in-house production of artisanal gin, and he’s often hanging out in the hotel’s stylish mountain-facing lounge bar, enjoying drinks with guests. The interior design is elegant and minimalist, with clean lines, parquet floors, copper fixtures, and huge picture windows that let in abundant sunshine and make the most of the spectacular mountain scenery. Even the simplest room has a private balcony with views, a separate living area, and a spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower and a tub. Larger suites come with large terraces and freestanding soaking tubs. Just as appealing is the hotel's cedar-lined, sun-drenched spa and wellness area with indoor and outdoor pools.
