Samara Lombok

Samara Lombok is a future Lombok resort project set to launch in 2028, with plans for all three hotels, 150 operational villas, and a complete suite of facilities. South Lombok is benefiting from improved road access, eco-conscious resorts, and locally sourced hospitality, and this project is part of that broader shift.

The project is built around a hillside setting. The location has been selected to nestle into the side of a hill below the Clubhouse, with ocean views from every room. Room categories have been designed as spacious Junior Suites and above, giving the resort plan a clear emphasis on room scale and views.

The clearest reason to keep the hotel on the radar is the scope: the planned debut includes three hotels, 150 operational villas, and a complete suite of facilities. The plans also include a four-bedroom private pool villa setting where guests can enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of Lombok’s natural landscape.

Named partnerships are part of the project. The planned facilities have been designed in partnership with leading global brands including Hyatt, Will Meyrick, Annabel Karmel, and Rascal Voyages. Construction at Samara Bay includes the Clubhouse roof structure, the foundations of the Samara Bay Clubhouse Suites, and the first villas being built at Samara Bay.

Who should wait for this

Track the hotel if ocean-view rooms, villa space, and a large resort plan in Lombok are the core appeal. Because the launch is set for 2028, the finished stay experience will be clearer closer to opening.
