About Apokryfo Traditional Guesthouse
In the Troodos foothills, architect Vakis Hadjikyriacou and his wife Diana bought four crumbling stone houses in Lofou village and spent years rebuilding them using local craftsmen and traditional methods. The result: five suites in the main guesthouse and standalone houses, some sleeping up to eight. Interiors mix vaulted ceilings, open fireplaces, and country kitchens alongside modern comforts. The larger houses, like the Schoolmaster's and Carpenter's, have private courtyards and full kitchens. AGRINO restaurant serves Cypriot dishes in a cosy living room during winter and on a rooftop terrace in summer, overlooking the village and the turquoise pool below. The spa runs massage treatments by appointment, complimentary access to the sauna and steam bath included.
