About Wild Cottages Elephant Sanctuary Resort
The concept here is straightforward and rare: a hillside eco-resort built around an ethical elephant sanctuary, where rescued animals roam freely across 25 rai of protected land above the Gulf of Thailand. The partnership between Wild Cottages and Samui Elephant Haven was founded on that premise, and the resort has been designed around it rather than alongside it: several cottages look directly onto the sanctuary, elephants visible from the terrace. Five categories of one and two-bedroom cottages range from garden-facing rooms to panoramic sea-view villas with private Bali stone saltwater pools, fully equipped teak kitchens and natural materials. Wild Child Organic Kitchen fuses Thai cooking with Mediterranean influence.
