Fusion Original Saigon Centre carved out space inside Takashimaya Shopping Mall, where warm wood and bronze fixtures work against the surrounding retail energy to create something closer to a residence than a hotel lobby. Miss Thu restaurant builds on flavors the chef remembers from their Old Saigon childhood, then pushes them using techniques picked up during years abroad, and the result doesn't fit neatly into any category, which seems intentional. Some rooms position bathtubs where city views fill the windows, while Notre Dame Cathedral and the Opera House both fall within walking range for those who prefer their sightseeing on foot.
