About Itsukushima Iroha
Mere minutes from the city of Hiroshima is the island of Itsukushima, and it’s here, in the seaside town of Miyajima, that you’ll find Itsukushima Iroha, a modern interpretation of Japan’s timeless ryokan tradition. Many of the rooms and suites have views of the Seto Inland Sea, the peak of Mt. Misen, or both. The interiors are full of classic 20th-century design pieces from Europe and the United States, while the smallest details are subject to the same degree of craftsmanship from Japanese artisans. The restaurant is the site of a similar fusion, applying French techniques to the produce of Setouchi and seafood from the Seto Inland Sea.
