About The Boato Hotel
About halfway between the two namesake towns on Colombia’s Peñol-Guatapé reservoir, the Boato Hotel is a splendid example of the region’s homegrown eco-luxe idiom. Private, suite-style accommodations (called “lares”) radiate tranquility in weathered wood, glass, and metal accents. Each comes with its own furnished viewing deck with a jacuzzi and fire pit, plus a kayak and paddle board to enjoy the water. The front desk will also help arrange more ambitious outings like jet skis or boat rental.
