About Bischoffs Hotel
In the German spa town of Bad Urach, at the foot of the Swabian Alb, a couple of young hoteliers have converted (and expanded) a guest house and an adjacent brewery and cinema into an ambitious contemporary boutique hotel and a stylish restaurant. Bischoff is named for its proprietors, who decorated its interiors in a minimalistic yet colorful (and comfortable) style, as part of a near-total re-imagining of the buildings’ spaces. The rooms are all subtly different, though all are immediately familiar to modern boutique-hotel aficionados; the main restaurant, Wilder Mann, is joined by the more casual Kesselhaus and the Bräustüble beer bar.
