The Read
About this event
Burgundy is a relatively small winemaking region, the most coveted wines are rarer still. Premier Cru wines make up around 12% of the region’s total production, Grand Cru only 2%. In fact, 50% of Burgundy’s production is in the regional appellations - Bourgogne Blanc & Rouge, Aligoté, Passetoutgrains, the like. We are excited to highlight these regional appellations made by some of Burgundy’s greatest winemakers with the same care and attention they give to their Grands and Premiers Crus. This convivial lunch at Arquet will feature the wines of Domaines Antoine Jobard (represented by the man himself, Antoine Jobard), Pierre Morey (Anne Morey), Marquis d’Angerville (Guillaume d’Angerville), and Hudelot-Noëllat (Charles Van Canneyt), paired with the cuisine of Chef Alex Hong of Arquet & Sorrel. Logistics: Thursday, February 26, 2026 | Arquet | Ferry Building, 1, #5, San Francisco, CA 94111 | $375 + tax.
