New York City Verticals Tasting is one of La Paulée’s signature events, built around three-vintage verticals of signature wines from participating domaines. The format focuses on how different Burgundian vintages show nuance and how one terroir’s expression can change over time, with the wines poured by the growers who farmed the grapes and crafted them.
Named domaines and wines in the lineup
The published lineup includes Domaine Arlaud’s Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Aux Combottes across the 2016, 2015, and 2010 vintages; Bouchard Père & Fils Corton Grand Cru “Le Corton” from 2022, 2019, and 2017; and Domaine de Cassiopée Maranges Rouge “Les Plantes” from 2023, 2022, and 2021. Each is presented as a vertical: one wine followed across three vintages.
