About the event
Madeline-inspired tea-party format
This Madeline-inspired event is a family-oriented holiday tea party at Bemelmans Bar in New York City. Its format combines child-friendly food, themed sweets, Shirley Temples, and live entertainment rather than a standard seated meal or standalone performance. The event is scheduled for Saturday, December 26, 2026, with the start time listed as 10:00 AM EST.
The program details add a holiday brunch-buffet element and interactive musical storytelling, so the main planning facts are the children’s tea-party theme, the food-and-drink component, and the live participatory entertainment.
Food, sweets, and drinks
The food and drink details include an all-you-can-eat child-friendly brunch buffet, Madeline-themed cupcakes, other sweet treats, and Shirley Temples. The event description also mentions custom sweet treats, which fits the Madeline-inspired tea-party framing without adding a separate menu beyond the items listed for the program.
Because the brunch buffet is described as child-friendly and all-you-can-eat, it is one of the central features of the event rather than an incidental refreshment note. The themed cupcakes, sweet treats, and Shirley Temples give the tea-party format its named food-and-drink structure.
Live storytelling and sing-alongs
The live portion features interactive musical storytelling and sing-alongs performed by Tina deVaron. She is identified as a pianist, singer, and storyteller at Bemelmans Bar, and the program specifically names her performances as part of the event’s entertainment.
The entertainment is described as live musical storytelling and sing-along performances, so the participatory component is a defined part of the program. That makes Tina deVaron one of the key named subjects of the event, alongside the Madeline-themed food and tea-party format.
Venue details
