    About the event

    TAUBENKOBEL at Manresa

TAUBENKOBEL from Austria comes to Los Gatos for a March 2026 residency with Ritual at Manresa. Alain Weissgerber leads the kitchen as lead resident chef, and the program is part of Ritual at Manresa Season III. The guest restaurant brings a two-Michelin-star background to the residency.

    Menu and beverage program

The dinner format centers on a 10–12 course tasting menu. Its culinary direction combines Austrian Burgenland traditions and biodynamics with California produce, seafood, and ingredients, giving the residency a defined Austrian-to-California frame rather than a general guest-chef dinner format.

The beverage program includes wine pairings, biodynamic selections by Gut Oggau, non-alcoholic cocktails, rare labels, and special vintages. Stephanie Tscheppe participates as winemaker and sommelier from Gut Oggau, connecting the wine component directly to one of the named program subjects.

    People, place, and schedule

Barbara Eselböck participates as co-proprietor and host for TAUBENKOBEL. The residency takes place at Manresa, a restaurant at 320 Village Ln in Los Gatos. Dinners run Wednesday through Sunday at 6:30 PM, with chef meet-and-greets on Tuesday at 6:00 PM and Saturday at 12:00 PM.

Participation requires membership or guest booking. Event pricing is not published, so planning around cost should rely on the booking path rather than an advertised public price.
