Stratigou Makrigianni 5

Stratigou Makrigianni 5 is a Contemporary Greek restaurant in Thessaloniki.

Use this as a flexible fallback, not the main booking

For a date, birthday, business meal, or other fixed plan, the main question is not whether Contemporary Greek dining fits Thessaloniki.

What to know before treating it as contemporary Greek

The cuisine label points to Contemporary Greek, but that is only a broad category. It does not verify a tasting menu, small-plates format, seafood focus, wine program, café setup, chef, price point, or signature dishes. Without those details, it is difficult to judge the venue for value, occasion fit, or group planning.

For flexible plans, Stratigou Makrigianni 5 can remain on a shortlist if its current offering matches what you want.

The practical verdict for 2026

Do not make Stratigou Makrigianni 5 the centerpiece of a Thessaloniki trip unless the current concept, menu, hours, and booking process are clear before you go. For wider planning across the city, use the Thessaloniki restaurants guide, then round out the trip with the Thessaloniki hotels guide, the Thessaloniki bars guide, the Thessaloniki wineries guide, and the Thessaloniki experiences guide.
