2026 Estrella Damm Sustainability Award: BiBi

The National Restaurant Awards were launched in 2007 to celebrate the UK eating-out scene. The Top 100 is produced from an academy of more than 200 chefs, restaurateurs, and food writers: the UK is split into 11 regions, voters nominate seven restaurants they have visited in the previous 12 months, and those weighted votes form the national ranking. The specialist awards sit alongside that ranking and identify category leaders in service, drinks, sustainability, regional excellence, and notable new openings. BiBi is the sole winner of the 2026 specialist award, The Estrella Damm Sustainability Award. The Estrella Damm Sustainability Award was judged by the Sustainable Restaurant Association. BiBi stood out for applying sustainability to a luxury city restaurant: British produce, traceable global sourcing, staff wellbeing, a four-day working pattern, and social and environmental responsibility embedded in day-to-day decisions. The SRA assessed the award through the Food Made Good lens of sourcing, society, and environment.
