About Fleur de Chine Hotel
Set above the northern edge of Sun Moon Lake, Fleur de Chine takes full advantage of its outlook, and most rooms come with natural hot spring baths and wide windows that open onto the lake’s shifting light and color. The hotel’s legacy stretches back to the 1970s, but it was a post-earthquake reinvention that uncovered the lake’s first known geothermal spring, now central to the experience here. Thoughtful sustainability practices and a strong local presence complete a stay that feels both rooted and restorative.
