The Cove Riverwalk Villas

In Wilmington, the lodging format is the central draw: The Cove Riverwalk Villas offers 35 custom-designed luxury houseboats available for overnight stays. It is a floating-villa stay, with private-deck time and indoor living space part of the experience.

A floating-villa stay with real living space

Each floating villa is nearly 1,200 square feet, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen, and spacious living areas. The accommodations are presented around houseboat living, with indoor space included in the format.

The one-bedroom houseboat called Delight points to another configuration at The Cove, with a first-floor living area and a rooftop patio for indoor-outdoor living. Alongside the two-bedroom floating villas, it shows that the property’s accommodations are built around houseboat living rather than a standard hotel-room layout.

Book for the setting

Private-deck sunset detail is part of the appeal here. The described experience includes stepping outside to a private deck for a glass of wine at sunset, or curling up inside with a cozy throw blanket. The hotel was founded by Brian and Summer DuMont and is brought to life by a dedicated local staff; choose it when floating living space in Wilmington is the main draw.
