Once a working maltings, then a war depot and later an artist’s studio, The Maltings has been transformed into a coastal getaway with a destination restaurant and a scattering of stylish rooms and suites. The original brick-and-pebble buildings remain, now softened by leather club chairs, floral wallpapers, freestanding tubs, and low-key luxury.
