About Landhotel Voshövel
What’s now Landhotel Voshövel has been in the family since 1872, though you’d never guess it from the looks of the contemporary luxury hotel that today occupies the estate. Here, on the Lower Rhine, close to the border with Holland, is a wellness-oriented resort with a substantial spa offering that combines modern architecture and design with the timeless charm of a classic country house. Rooms and suites vary widely in size, and all maintain this lively blend of modern and rustic elements; the comforts, even in the smallest single room, are first-rate. Just as important is the spa, with its pools, saunas, and fitness equipment — and some of the region’s finest cycling and hiking routes are availble just outside. Also of note: the property’s old barn, now redesigned, houses a pop-up restaurant, just one of several culinary offerings in-house.
