About Agriturismo Delo
Just eight kilometers from Verona's center, above the Squaranto Valley on a plateau at 173 meters, Tenuta Delo has been in the same family since 1894. The estate traces its name to the Greek word for bright, a reference that makes sense the moment you see the extraordinary luminosity of the landscape: vineyards, centuries-old olive groves, and woodland falling away on all sides. At the heart of it stands a ninth-century tower, once a lookout against northern invaders. The eight rooms and suites have antique terracotta floors, exposed beam ceilings, and 19th-century furniture; owner Antonia Mozzanega, a literature teacher by training, has filled the living spaces with books, paintings, and rugs accumulated over generations.
