About Avancher
One of Val d’Isère’s first hotels, the old Avancher opened in 1949. In its new incarnation as the Avancher Hotel & Lodge, however, it could hardly be more 21st-century. Not renovated but totally rebuilt, it’s now the very picture of the modern Alpine boutique hotel: eye-catching contemporary interiors made from rustic materials, thoughtful details like free wi-fi and LED reading lamps, and luxe touches like a jacuzzi with a view and a Scandinavian-style outdoor sauna. Also present: everything you need to enjoy a proper ski holiday, including on-site equipment rental and ski passes.
