About Joyet de Maubec
Set in the New Aquitaine town of Uzerche, the so-called “pearl of the Limousin,” was a rather fortress-like boarding school with a commanding view. Today, as a luxurious small hotel, it’s a member of Les Collectioneurs, and is known as the Hôtel Joyet de Maubec. Much of its history has been preserved, and is juxtaposed in vibrant contrast with modern elements; rooms contain original features, contemporary interventions, and in many cases extraordinary views. Alongside the eleven bedrooms are a small relaxation area and a gastronomic restaurant, La Treille Muscate, with a far-ranging views over the Vézère valley.
