About Le Flaubert
There’s no mistaking this classic seaside hotel — one step outside of its imposing half-timbered structure and you’re literally on the boardwalk at Trouville-sur-Mer, one of Normandy’s storied coastal destinations. Le Flaubert’s ne-Norman exterior remains as it has always been, plus a fresh coat of paint; its interiors, however, have been reimagined in a style that’s still classic in its inspiration, but contemporary in its execution: a focused palette of white and maritime blue, with antique accents and objets lending warmth. With just 31 rooms and suites it’s not just boutique-style but boutique-sized as well; the bar, Le Bovary, plays up the hotel’s literary associations, and the hotel hosts the annual winner of the Prix Flaubert.
