About La Borie d\u0027Hélipse
It’s not easy to live up to the aesthetic standards of “les plus beaux villages,” or the most beautiful villages of France — but La Borie d'Hélipse, on the edge of picturesque Tournemire, is up to the task. To match the region’s architectural style, the boutique hotel is built of volcanic stone, slate, and wood, with an elegant dining room and terrace facing the medieval fortress of Château d’Anjony and rooms with private terraces overlooking the scenic Doire Valley. Some are rustic-chic with wooden floors and others romantic with floral wallpaper, but they’re all quiet and sophisticated, and the indoor swimming pool and hammam offer additional space for relaxation.
