About Lapland Hotel Tampere
Finland’s second city may be less famous than the capital, but it’s hardly less sophisitcated, at least if the Lapland Hotel Tampere is any indication. Forgive the undistinguished façade — it was built as an ordinary business hotel before its interiors received a boutique makeover at the hand of the home-grown Lapland hotel group. Rooms are elegant and somewhat minimalist, with stylized antlers above the beds as a nod to the brand’s origins. The bigger rooms and suites have private saunas — only in Finland — and the restaurant, Dabbal, serves a menu inspired by the forests of the far north.
