About InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach by IHG
InterContinental Sydney Coogee Beach repurposed the former Crowne Plaza into 198 rooms that face either the ocean or the residential streets behind it. The design follows a coastal rhythm: curved joinery, pale timber, sun-bleached whites, and wall-to-wall glass. The 22 suites add outdoor baths and separate living areas with unobstructed water views. Rick Stein made his Sydney debut here, cooking simply prepared seafood in the style that established his reputation across England and two Australian coastal outposts. Sunrise yoga happens on the sand, private pickleball courts are bookable by the hour, and the property includes an infinity pool and rooftop bar overlooking the beach.
