About Le Graffalgar
Talk is cheap for some so-called “art hotels,” but the Hôtel Graffalgar has gone all the way, giving local artists a free hand to decorate its rooms in any way they saw fit. Visually, it’s anything but a theme hotel; each of its 38 spaces is entirely distinct, some graffiti-inspired, others steampunk, or forested, or dazzlingly Op-inspired. The restaurant, or Graffateria, is a multifarious all-day affair, and there’s a lounge space for co-working, meeting, or simply relaxing. Strasbourg, too, is said to be France’s most bike-friendly city, and bikes are available for guests’ convenience.
