About Le Pré Rainette
Minutes away from the seaside resort of Touquet-Paris-Plage, Le Pré Rainette looks like an old-fashioned country manor with a red-tiled roof and whitewashed walls. But the building is actually a new construction modeled after the region’s traditional farmhouses. The owners hunted for antique treasures to furnish the place accordingly: among their finds are big wooden tables, romantic old fireplaces, and vintage tiles. The main house has a few guest rooms, one featuring a freestanding tub with views of the surrounding forest, the other a two-room suite that’s perfect for families. A separate cottage offers a kitchen and a cozy living room. On the beautifully landscaped grounds that surround both houses, there’s a heated swimming pool, rose gardens, and a pond populated by frogs that inspired the hotel’s name. The owners lend bicycles for exploring nearby trails or pedaling to the coast.
