About Intercontinental Shenzhen Dameisha Resort
Shenzhen might be best known overseas as a hotbed of tech, commerce, and manufacturing, but as this hotel’s seaside location makes clear, you don’t have to travel very far from the population centers to get to a frankly idyllic stretch of coastline, nestled into verdant mountains and presided over by the curvaceous modern structure that is the InterContinental Shenzhen Dameisha Resort. Inside are no fewer than 432 rooms and suites; this is no small operation, though in a luxury hotel of this caliber it’s quite easy to forget all about the other 431. The most impressive units look straight out to sea, though those with a garden view are not too shabby either; many come with balconies, and they start out spacious and only get larger from there. No less extensive are the InterContinental Shenzhen Dameisha Resort’s facilities; among its leisure offerings are five swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor, as well as a vast surplus of meeting and events space. And its six restaurants ensure a varied stay even for guests who never leave the property, ranging from a handful of Chinese options to Mediterranean fare at the Azure, inspired by the south of France.
