The family-owned Hotel Granbaita Dolomites shows off the region at its best no matter the season. Located in the centre of Selva di Val Gardena, the hotel looks across picturesque views of the Dolomites mountains from its collection of rooms and suites, which put a modern spin on classic chalet style with contemporary furnishings, sleek black lighting and wood paneled walls engraved with clean geometric lines. Granbaita Gourmet Restaurant serves both tasting and à la carte menus that combine the region’s traditional cuisine and seasonal produce with international flavors, accompanied by a choice of more than 400 local wines from the stone vaulted cellars. Bar & Lounge Granbaita is open from morning coffee to après-ski drinks, and there’s a large terrace in summer. The vast spa is a real highlight, with an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, both heated to 32°C, numerous saunas and steam baths, a salt grotto and a fitness room.
