About Hotel-Restaurant Valrose
Some fine hotels are not revolutionary or unprecedented, but just quietly excellent. The Valrose, in the Swiss Alpine village of Rougemeont, is just such a place. Its 12 rooms all have views of the mountains — as does much of Rougemont — and they’re decorated in what the hotel calls a contemporary chalet style, updating the coziness of the traditional form for a boutique-hotel audience.
