About The Pantheon Iconic\u002c Autograph Collection
Around the corner from the Pantheon on a narrow side street, an old five-story palazzo was smartly transformed into The Pantheon Iconic, a luxury boutique hotel. The Italian architect Marco Piva and his design studio led the efforts in collaboration with Pacini Building Workshop, enhancing the building’s original structure with modern updates — its elegant archways are now illuminated by sophisticated LED lighting systems, for instance — and borrowing material inspiration from the neighborhood’s most famous landmark. Like the ancient Roman temple just steps away, the Pantheon Iconic, Autograph Collection is lined with fine stone; gold Calacatta marble and black porcelain feature prominently in the lobby, and rooms have rich red marble bathrooms and regal silver and bronze color palettes.
